New research has emerged around friends and friendship.  Apparently, having lots of friends doesn’t cause more stress or make life difficult.  In fact, having a number of real social networks helps in a variety of ways.  It helps increase your physical well-being and your mental well being. 

When you experience challenges in your life, having a strong set of many groups of friends helps you to cope with those challenges more effectively. 

So, let’s here it for our friends.  It might just be time to plan an evening out with your friends, especially if you haven’t gone out in a while.

And, to all of my friends (and if you’re reading this I hope you consider yourself a friend of mine in one way or another), thank you.
